The Academy
All the training you need to become a Third Molar Expert.
Step 1
Third Molar Prep Course
Start your journey by completing a self-guided prep course to prepare you for your first clinical day. This course will introduce you to Dr. Wisdom Teeth’s 7-Step Technique, and will enable you to hit the ground running on your first day operating with Dr. Hendrickson.
Step 2
Clinical Days 1, 2, + 3
During this advanced training, you’ll spend three days operating under the guidance of Dr. Hendrickson improving your surgical technique. After this week, you’ll easily be able to perform one surgery an hour.
Step 3
Implementation Phase 1
Do more surgeries than you’ve done in a single day and experience your first influx of revenue from your new skills. Implement our technique in your practice, you’ll get even faster with each patient.
Step 4
Clinical Day 4
Now that you’ve put your skills into practice, it’s time to sharpen them further. Work alongside a third molar expert — you perform the procedures while they fine-tune your technique.
Step 5
Implementation Phase 2
Practice makes perfect! Again, develop your technique by operating on your own patients. Expect to gain speed and precision with each patient.
Step 6 + Step 7
Clinical Day 5 +
Implementation Phase 3
You’ll be shocked by your progress. By repeating the cycle of fine-tuning with an expert, then going home to practice — you’ll be well on your way to mastery.

Clinical Day 6
This program was designed for growth. You achieve mastery by utilizing your skills over and over again, while we work closely with you to accelerate improvements.

Congratulations, well done! Expect to perform 2-3 cases an hour, or 20 cases a day.

I want to master third molar extractions, but I’d also like to continue practicing general dentistry. Is this program for me?
Yes! The Academy is designed to give you the ability to maximize revenue from third molar extractions, whether you do 1 surgical day or 5 is up to you. Many of our clients add third molar extractions as an additional offering, keeping their existing patients + procedures as well.
How long is The Academy?
The Academy is designed to be a long term program. We’ve found that quantity is important for mastery, so there is an expected number of extractions between each clinical day. Given this, actual duration depends on scheduling.
How many patients will I practice on during The Academy?
You’ll operate on over 100 live, sedated patients throughout the course of the academy. After the first 3 days of training, you’ll be prepared to go home and vastly increase your revenue.
Will I earn CE credits?
Yes. During the course of The Academy you’ll receive 40+ hours of CE credits recognized by AGD. Online courses will also provide CE credits, though the amount varies from course to course.
Where do the clinical courses take place?
The first three clinical days take place consecutively in Salt Lake City, with the final three clinical days held at various locations around the country. We cover all your flights and accommodation expenses.
